Aminet Amiga CDROM, June 93 edition. Walnut Creek CDROM.
The \_bbs\opus directory contains the tools that created the
files.bbs file in each subdirectory. These should be usable with
Remote Access / Maximus / TubFile / Opus / QuickBbs / Superbbs.
The \_bbs\pcbtool directory contains the tools used to create the \_bbs\pcb
*.dir files. It also has a utility to create the global index file. How
well this will work, I don't know. Please make backups on your
configuration.
The \_bbs\rbbstool directory has some tools and hints for installing
the cdrom on a RBBS board. The file listings are in \_bbs\rbbs. The
directory files, dir.dir, dirc.dir, and dirg.dir are in
\_bbs\rbbstools.
The \_bbs\sftool directory has some tools and hints for installing
the cdrom on a spitfire BBS. The file listings are in \_bbs\sf.
The \_bbs\rover directory has instructions for converting the
\_bbs\pcboard\*.dir files to rOver board format.
The \_bbs\rbbstool has some directory screens for this disc. All the
directories are collapsed into few enough directories to fit on one
screen. I.e., if there were 200 original subdirectories then these
directories have only 30 or so, so the list displays on almost one
screen. One version of the RBBS index files are set up like this.
In the \_bbs\rbbstool directory is a directory listing of the
different file areas. These are the 30 file areas I created by
sorting all the different areas into only 30 catagories. (The
\_bbs\rbbstool\mk_small.bat batch file creates the actual file
listing for these areas.) There are three versions of the directory
menu, a plain version, a IBM high-bit version, and an ANSI color
version. If you want to show me what your bbs requires for a
directory area display similar to the rbbs display, please send me
the exact specifications.
\_bbs\wc30 contains a setup program for wildcat, version 3.55. this
is the commercial version, not the shareware version. My stuff should
also work with version 3.60.
If you set the disc up for your board with features or enhancements
that aren't on the disc, please ftp me a copy to cdrom.com or
snail-mail me a copy and I'll credit your account toward future
purchases.
I'm not a sysop. I have tried to create file index files that will
be useful for sysops. Feedback is appreciated. Prebuilt BBS
configuration files are greatly appreciated.
